On Gratitude – Part 1
A reflection on the four “Ides of March” that shaped my creative life. From discovering stand-up comedy in 2015, to finding poetry communities in 2016, to writing my first play in 2017, to recognising my own growth in 2019, this piece traces how open mics, performers, writers, and friends helped me believe in my voice. It is both a thank you note and a reminder of how far a dreamer can travel in four-year cycles.
